De Vere Care Partnership is absolutely overjoyed to announce a groundbreaking moment in its journey toward a greener, more sustainable future! The excessive CO2 emissions from its old diesel and petrol cars pushed the team to take bold, decisive steps. In 2019, De Vere Care had a mix of these vehicles, but by 2022, we proudly eliminated all diesel cars. By the end of 2023, all petrol vehicles were phased out. Now, the excitement reaches new heights as we introduce our very first electric vehicle, handed to one of our care assistants. This marks the beginning of our final step—replacing all hybrids with electric vehicles by 2030.
The team is buzzing with pride and energy, knowing that each move brings us closer to our goal of full electrification. And the best part? De Vere Care is aligned with Essex County Council, standing proudly as a valued partner in the ambitious mission to reach net zero by 2050. This isn’t just a transition—it’s history in the making. Together, with our partners and community, we are driving real, impactful change for a cleaner, brighter future.”
